I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University. I’m a proud Puerto Rican, born and raised in New York City, and deeply committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for healing—especially for communities that have been historically marginalized.
With nearly a decade of experience working in schools and mental health, I bring a grounded, trauma-informed, and relational approach to the work I do with clients. My practice is rooted in social justice, emotional wellness, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported.
Whether you're navigating life transitions, identity exploration, grief, anxiety, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you in that process. Outside of work, I’m an avid traveler who finds inspiration in new cultures, people, and perspectives.
I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all. My goal is to co-create a space with you that honors your unique voice, values, and path forward.
Literal translation:
“Heal, heal, little frog’s tail;
if it doesn’t heal today, it will heal tomorrow.”
What it means:
It’s a gentle, comforting rhyme often said when people get a small injury—like a scrape or bump—similar to saying “all better!” or “kiss it better” in English. The phrase isn’t meant to be literal; it’s meant to be soothing, and reassuring, helping you feel cared for and calm.
Culturally, it represents:
It’s a beautiful expression of care, patience, and gentle encouragement—which helped to inspire the name "Casa Sana".
I hope to create a healing space where my clients always remember to take things one day at a time.
I became a therapist and life coach because I believe in the power of being seen, heard, and held—especially in a world that too often tells us to shrink ourselves or carry our pain in silence. I am passionate about helping others not just survive but thrive.
As a Puerto Rican woman raised in the Bronx, I witnessed firsthand the impact of generational trauma, systemic injustice, and emotional resilience within my own community. I was drawn to this work by a deep desire to support others in breaking cycles, reclaiming their power, and finding healing on their own terms.
Therapy, to me, is not about fixing people, it's about walking beside them as they rediscover their voice, their strength, and their capacity to thrive. Holding space for that transformation is not just my profession—it’s my calling. I want to give people the tools they need to not just survive, but live a life that feels meaningful and whole. In a world with so much going on, it is important to me that people have a space to have their voices heard and to navigate everyday challenges in a sustainable way.
I specialize in working with adults from all walks of life particularly clients from diverse backgrounds, particularly Latinx, Black, POC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, poly, and marginalized communities, in fostering deeper connection and resilience.
I am someone who values learning opportunities and have earned certificates in TF-CBT, Integrative Sex and Couples Therapy, and more!
My ideal client is someone seeking a safe, supportive space to navigate life’s challenges. They may struggle with relationship dynamics, mental health, sexual well-being, or life transitions but they are ready to embark on a journey towards wellness. Their goal is healing, growth, and self-empowerment—whether individually or with loved ones.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques and tailor my approach to each client's unique needs. Using a social justice, anti-oppressive, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach. My goal is to create a judgment-free, inclusive space where you feel heard and supported.
Our sessions are solutions-oriented, with you as the expert in your own life, guiding your healing and growth. I like to meet clients where they at in their journey and help them expand their capacity. Your deserve a space where you can be your authentic self and create a life that feels meaningful.
